Recommendation is intent. Observation is evidence of what physically happened. These figures describe variation; they are not workout grades and did not control the session.
Candidate watts are experimental predictions calculated after your formal assessment. They did not control the workout.
Active prescription remains the legacy heart-rate band. Shadow candidate watts estimate athlete-relative workload for that region and have no live authority. Bike threshold work is the primary validated evidence path.
Observed in-band watts represent settled workload while heart rate was within the legacy target range. The threshold transfer series reports session-level error under that controller; it is not an authorization score.
